Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows the therapist's plan of care and documents communications.
• Implements patient-centered, occupation-based interventions with adaptation as needed.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and other health care providers throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and other health care staff.
• Operates under supervision, seeking direction from the OTR as needed.
• Produces clear, objective documentation to support decisions and payer needs.
• Participates in activities addressing quality of service delivery.
• Communicates effectively with the care team and patients.
• Completes required education for program standards where applicable.
