Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement OT programs in facility settings. You will follow recovery plans, deliver therapy, and contribute to a patient-centered care approach that restores patients’ abilities and independence.

You will work within a collaborative rehab team, addressing the whole patient and supporting families, with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
• Provide patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism.

Education
