Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA& ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Execute OT programs and activities to advance patient recovery.
• Follow established treatment plans and document progress.
• Collaborate with rehab team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide compassionate care and patient education.

Education

Initial NBCOT Certification
