Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Jasper, Indiana, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist. You will support treatment plans, assist with ADL training, and help patients improve function and independence.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Licenses: Must have and maintain a current OTA licensure or certification; CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by OTs, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Document patients’ responses, progress, and communicate findings to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
