Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Indiana is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an OT. You will document patient progress, collaborate with the OT, and help train staff in OT-related knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities include evaluating patient responses, contributing to care planning, and ensuring compliance with resident rights. Some travel to other campuses or home health assignments is required, with CPR certification

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• OTA licensure or certification must be active and maintained.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Travel: Yes, typically less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of the occupational therapist.
• Evaluate patient response to treatment and give feedback to the team.
• Document the course of patient care, including progress and continued need for treatment.
• Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop education methods for patients and families.
• Assist OT in providing cross-training on OT knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to cost-effective care delivery.
• Report complaints or grievances by residents to Rehab Program Director/Director of Health Services or Executive Director.
• Travel to other campus locations or home health assignments as needed.
• Maintain compliance with Resident Rights Policy.
• Participate in survey preparation activities.
