Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Madison, IN seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role requires a current OTA license and provides education to patients and families, with responsibilities across documentation, progress reporting, and home exercise guidance.

Qualifications

• OTA degree from an accredited program.
• Current state OTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses, progress, and report findings to supervising therapist.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families on home exercises, adaptive techniques, and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
