Job summary

Genesis HealthCare operates Powerback Rehabilitation, delivering occupational therapy and related services in a facility setting. The Occupational Therapy Assistant role focuses on implementing treatment plans, helping patients regain function, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

As part of a supportive, patient-centered environment, you will work under the Director of Rehab and contribute to a culture of growth, mentorship, and professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Help patients get well and restore independence.
• Collaborate with a team and refer to specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide patient-centered, compassionate care to patients and families.

Education
