Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs in facility settings, following established recovery plans and delivering treatments to help patients regain abilities and independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, collaboration with a rehab team, and a commitment to helping patients thrive across diverse care environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• You’re a healer and a helper who aims to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence.
• You’re adaptable to patient needs and you can work across different settings while collaborating with peers and referring patients when needed.

Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (AOTA/ACOTE)

NBCOT Certification
