Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for in-facility rehabilitation. In this role you will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to patients in various settings.

You will collaborate with the rehab team to address the whole patient, supporting independence and functional recovery while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Eligible candidates may have new-grad mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• See patients as individuals to restore independence and function.
