Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver in-facility therapy, implementing programs and recovery plans under the direction of the Director of Rehab. You will help patients regain independence, adapt activities, and support their overall wellbeing in a compassionate setting.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and flexibility across settings as Powerback continues to expand across the nation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with peers and refer to others when needed to support patient care.
