Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in-facility, implementing therapy programs and recovery plans to help patients regain independence. You will be a healer and a teammate, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across varied settings.

You will address the whole patient, adapt to individual needs, and collaborate with the rehab team to ensure quality outcomes while supporting growth in clinical skills and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Initial certification obtained from NBCOT.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Address the whole patient and view them as an individual.
• Help restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with peers and refer to other clinicians as needed.
• Maintain patient-first, compassionate care across settings.
