Continuum Therapy Partners seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient care at Longwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Longwood, FL. The role involves implementing treatment plans under OT supervision, documenting progress, and educating patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

Full-time daytime position with competitive benefits. Licensed Florida COTA with NBCOT certification preferred; PRN options available as well.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current, unencumbered Florida COTA license; NBCOT certification required.
• At least 1 year of COTA experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implements individualized treatment plans under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required
• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
