Job summary

Synchrony in Muncie, IN is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapists in delivering patient-centered care. You’ll assist with therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and progress documentation, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

The role requires an OTA credential, CPR (preferred), and 0–1 year of experience. Weekly pay, health benefits, and loan repayment support are included to help you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• 0–1 year of experience preferred but not required.
• Must have and maintain a current OTA licensure or certification; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
