Job summary

Ascension in Appleton, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant for Rehabilitation Outpatient pediatrics. A current OTA license (or eligibility) and completion of an accredited OTA program are required.

The position offers a day shift, Monday–Friday, with a 36-hour workweek. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, observe and document patient responses, adapt treatments accordingly, and help guide families through transition planning.

• Active state OTA license (or eligibility) and completion of an accredited OTA program.
• BLS certification within 1 month (30 days) of hire; CPR accepted.
• Certified Rehab Therapist (COTA) required prior to hire date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):


• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Certified Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (COTA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
