Job summary

AED CONSTRUCTORES is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Santee, CA. The role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with physical, cognitive, and functional limitations in a SNF setting.

You will develop individualized OT plans, train patients in ADLs, and recommend adaptive equipment to boost independence while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. BLS/CPR is required, and CA OT licensure is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year OT experience preferred, ideally in SNF/geriatric setting.
• Strong problem-solving and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, and functional limitations in a SNF setting.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and feeding.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to improve independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of patient care and outcomes.
