Job summary

AED CONSTRUCTORES is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Carmichael, California. The role emphasizes helping geriatric patients regain independence in daily living activities, with personalized treatment plans and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You will evaluate, treat, and educate patients, while coordinating adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to enhance function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OT experience preferred, ideally in a SNF or geriatric setting.
• Strong problem-solving and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, and functional limitations in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and feeding.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to improve independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of patient care and outcomes.
