Job summary

AED CONSTRUCTORES seeks an Occupational Therapist to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Atascadero, California. You will evaluate and treat geriatric patients, developing personalized OT plans to improve daily living activities and independence.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, training patients in ADLs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, with emphasis on patient-centered care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OT experience preferred, ideally in a SNF or geriatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, and functional limitations in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and feeding.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to improve independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of patient care and outcomes.
