Job summary

You will supervise COTA, coordinate with physicians, and document care in medical records while training staff and ensuring safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Masters/Doctorate preferred in OT.
• Proficient computer skills for health records and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise COTA and aides in resident care.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and team members.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in medical records.
• Provide staff in-services and training as needed.
• Maintain infection control and safe treatment environment.
• Recommend DME to support independence in ADLs.
