Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Sandalwood in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program. This full-time role offers a stable team focused on geriatric recovery in a post-acute setting.

You will screen and treat patients with functional disorders, coordinate discharge summaries, and collaborate with families and caregivers. Licensure is required; new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• OT license is required.
• New Grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wounds, developing appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions following regulatory standards.
• Assist with transfers, lifting, and repositioning; administer rehab procedures and wound care as needed.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory requirements.
