Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs, functional limitations, and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and aides in resident care.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families regarding goals and discharge plans.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences, Utilization Review meetings, and Rehabilitation meetings.
