Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and supervise assistants. The role includes collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families, as well as providing in-services and ensuring compliant documentation.

The incumbent will maintain infection control standards, educate residents and caregivers, and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the rehabilitation program.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; advanced degrees preferred.
• Ability to input data and maintain documentation in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and training of staff.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families regarding progress and discharge plans.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with policies and payer requirements.
