Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents, collaborate with families and physicians, and maintain accurate medical records. The role includes developing individualized treatment plans and ensuring compliance with facility and payer requirements.

You will supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, provide training to staff, and participate in care conferences to support resident goals and discharge planning. A state license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state buyer’s jurisdiction.
• CPR certification as licensure requires.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants in resident care.
• Document progress and maintain compliant medical records.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
