Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents, communicate with families and health team members, and maintain documentation in the medical records. The role includes in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence, supervising COTAs and aides, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring compliant documentation and infection control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
• Licensed OT in the state with continuing education.
• Proficient in electronic health records and rehab documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise COTA and trainees in resident care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, families, and healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policies and regulations.
