Job summary

Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC seeks an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) to evaluate, plan and direct therapy programs, administer modalities as prescribed, and help residents restore function after injury or illness.

The OTR will work with a multidisciplinary team, document care plans, supervise assistants, and maintain high standards of patient dignity, safety and communication with residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR).
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Directs therapy department staff and oversees OT assistants and aides.
• Evaluates treatment effectiveness and suggests changes to the physician.
• Performs assessments, documents plans of care, and conducts reassessments.
• Demonstrates proficiency in OT modalities and treatment protocols.
• Maintains patient dignity and engages families in care planning.
• Coordinates with physicians, staff, and行政 team to ensure quality care.
