Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Illinois is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team of SLPs, PTs, counselors and ABA professionals. You’ll specialize in areas like Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health while helping children develop fine motor, cognitive and self-care skills.

The role offers a collaborative culture with mentorship and training, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successfully pass NBCOT Certification.
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of equipment as needed.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor, cognition, language, self-care and regulation.
• Support families to foster treatment practices at home.

What You’ll Do

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
