Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. in Plainfield, IL is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric team after school hours.

You’ll assess clients, design interventions, and collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and ABA professionals to support development. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in OT, pass NBCOT, and are licensed or eligible for Illinois licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successfully pass the NBCOT.
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor, cognition, language, self-care and regulation skills.
• Provide support to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
