North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to deliver home health services to children aged 0-21. You will assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Bachelors/Masters degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0-21 years old, 2+ times per week, per physician orders.
• Define patients' degree and type of impairment using appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient goals; advise and instruct team in OT modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet OT intervention goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, resources, and in-service programs.
• May provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

• Define patients' degree and type of physical, fine motor, and sensory impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the team in specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total occupational therapy program.
• May provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
