North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Sachse, TX seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric home health services for patients aged 0–21, with 2+ visits per week according to physician orders.

You will assess fine motor, sensory and functional needs, interpret diagnostic data, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate staff and families through training and materials. Pediatric experience and Texas license required; Spanish language skills a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2+ times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Define patients degree and type of physical, fine motor, and sensory impairment(s) by selecting and administering testing instruments.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the team in specific occupational therapy modalities and interventions.
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total occupational therapy program.
• May provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
