Job summary

London Health & Rehab Center is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to help restore independence for residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will guide therapies, educate patients, and support discharge planning with a focus on functional recovery.

Full-time opportunities are available with days shifts. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered and education opportunities are provided to advance your nursing career within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Must possess current valid state license.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use EHR/software.

Responsibilities

• Return patients to optimal physical function in SNF setting.
• Educate patients on maintaining function and independent exercise.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job is to return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patients, physicians, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current and valid license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
