Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center in Virginia is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents regain function in a skilled nursing setting. You will work with patients, families, and care teams to design and implement therapy plans and educate on independence.

The role is full-time, 1st shift, with a $47/hour wage and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, 401K, and opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through software including EHR.

• Return patients to optimal physical function and aid achievement of therapy goals within a SNF setting.
• Instruct patients in maintenance of function after discharge through education, independent exercise programs, and activity modification.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job is to return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patients, physicians, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.

• Must possess a current and valid license granted from state of employment.

• Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
