Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide OT services in SNF settings. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, discharge planning, and supervise rehab staff while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

NBCOT certification is required.
Active state OT license (where applicable) is required.

Responsibilities

Optimize the functionality and skills of patients by providing, directing, and overseeing occupational therapy.
Provide consultation and clinical supervision to COTAs.
Directly supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs in skilled tasks while promoting efficient use of resources.
Build a strong occupational therapy program.
Enhance clinical and management skills through collaboration with managers and staff and continuing education.
Maintain a valid state license and stay aware of professional issues and regulations.
Understand payment models and ensure clinically appropriate delivery and outcomes.
Follow infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols.
Read, write, speak and understand English in clinical communication.
