Job summary

Talented Medicals Solution seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve ADLs and functional independence.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and maintain compliant EMR records while participating in discharge planning and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification if required by facility.
• Previous OT experience preferred.
• Experience across outpatient, inpatient, acute care, rehab, or school-based settings may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to inform care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient goals.
• Implement evidence-based OT interventions to improve ADLs, IADLs, mobility, and cognition.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on plans, home exercises, and safety.
• Supervise COTAs or rehab staff when applicable and per state rules.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and participate in discharge planning.
