Job summary

Austill’s Educational Therapy Services & AOT, Inc. is seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy for PreK–12 students in Pennsylvania.

The role emphasizes fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional classroom participation through direct therapy and IEP implementation. The OT will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop IEP goals, and handle documentation and meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12).

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
• Complete documentation, including progress notes and IEP updates.

Job description

Snapshot: We are seeking an engaging, pediatric Occupational Therapist to work 5 days/week with preschool students beginning mid December, 2026 through June, possibly summer 2027 and on. The ideal candidate has experience working with preschool students in autistic support classes.

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
