Job summary

Austill’s Educational Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to deliver school-based therapy to students from preschool through 12th grade in the Leesport, PA area for the 2026-27 school year. The role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in classroom activities.

Responsibilities include direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to PreK–12 students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
• Complete required documentation: progress notes, IEP updates, and annual reviews.
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Support student development in sensory integration and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable).

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
