Austill's Educational Therapy Services & AOT, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide school-based therapy to PreK–12 students with a mid-December start through June, potentially extending into summer 2027.

The role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams. Travel between school locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to PreK–12 students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
• Complete required documentation: progress notes, data collection, IEP updates, annual reviews.
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed.

Snapshot

We are seeking an engaging, pediatric Occupational Therapist to work 5 days/week with preschool students beginning mid December, 2026 through June, possibly summer 2027 and on. The ideal candidate has experience working with preschool students in autistic support classes.

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• Data collection
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Fine motor skills
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
