Job summary

Austill's Educational Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work with school-age children in Berwyn, PA for the 2026-27 school year. The role focuses on school-based therapy to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation.

You will provide direct OT services, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and school teams. The position requires PA licensure and a degree in occupational therapy, with experience in pediatric settings

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Snapshot: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work 5 days per week with school age children in the Berwyn, PA area for the 2026-27 school year

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK-12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
