Job summary

Austill’s Educational Therapy Services & AOT, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) to deliver school-based therapy to students from preschool through 12th grade, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation.

The role involves direct OT services, IEP implementation, and collaboration with teachers and school teams. Travel between school locations may be required; active PA OT license and accredited OT program graduate are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania OT license
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to PreK–12 students
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Complete required documentation including progress notes and IEP updates
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in sensory processing and activities of daily living

Snapshot: We have an immediate opening for an engaging, pediatric Occupational Therapist to work 5 days/week with elementary school-age students in specialized life skills, autistic support programming.

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
