Job summary

The TEEMA Group is seeking an Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) to support employee health, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will assess and treat work-related injuries, coordinate return-to-work programs, and conduct required screenings in a fast-paced workplace environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited School of Nursing or ADN/ASN required.
• BSN from an accredited four‑year college or university preferred.
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with hands‑on training.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required depending on scope.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN‑S) preferred and may be required.
• Minimum of three years of RN experience in an occupational health clinic or similar setting.
• Experience supporting workplace health and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance for clinical operations and required evaluations and screenings.
• Evaluate, treat, and prioritize patient care within the RN scope of practice.
• Provide evidence-based care to injured workers focusing on treatment, recovery, and timely return to work.
• Coordinate workers' compensation case management with TPA, client representatives, and providers.
• Implement, coordinate, and monitor transitional duty and return-to-work programs.
• Perform clinical testing and documentation as required (EKG, audiometry, vision, etc).
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within nursing scope.
• Maintain equipment and infection control standards; keep accurate patient records.
• Educate employees on health promotion, injury prevention, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and internal/external partners on health programs and safety initiatives.
• Participate in accident and injury investigations and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
