Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse in Occupational Health for our Health Center in Cleveland, NC. The role offers weekend and late-shift hours (Saturday-Sunday 5:00 AM–5:00 PM and Monday 5:00 PM–2:00 AM).

You will care for client employees, conduct required health evaluations, and support return‑to‑work programs. Responsibilities include delivering evidence‑based care, coordinating with TPAs and clients, and educating employees on wellness and disease prevention.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) preferred and may be required for some sites.
• Current hands‑on BLS training is required; ACLS may be required based on contract scope of services.
• At least three years of RN experience in an occupational health clinic, ER, or ambulatory care.
• Experience promoting healthy, safe, and productive workplaces.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for clinical operations and manage required evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC).
• Evaluate, treat, and prioritize patient care within scope of practice.
• Deliver evidence-based care to injured workers and coordinate case management with TPA and client.
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers.
• Perform and document medical tests, screenings, and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintain equipment and infection control procedures; keep patient records up to date.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
