Job summary

Premise Health in Barberton, OH is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health to provide care for client employees in our Health Center. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm. OSHA/DOT/CDC evaluations and autonomous practice are key.

You will support injury management, return-to-work, and prevention programs while maintaining accurate health records and ensuring a safe clinical environment. The role requires an RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and occupational health

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Occupational Health certification may be required depending on site.
• Hands-on Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS may be required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage required physical evaluations.
• Evaluate, treat, and prioritize patient care within scope of practice.
• Deliver care to injured workers and coordinate case management with TPA and client.
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within legal scope.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and up-to-date patient records.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support health programs and safety initiatives.
• Assist with accident investigations and return-to-work programs.
