Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Barberton, OH, is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health to provide care to client employees at our Health Center.

The role requires autonomous work, OSHA/DOT/CDC compliance, and delivering evidence-based care. Candidates should have nursing certificate or AS degree, active RN license in OH, BLS required, ACLS may be required, and at least three years in occupational health or ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in state of practice
• Occupational health experience
• BLS for health care providers
• ACLS may be required
• 3+ years RN experience in occupational health/ambulatory care
• Experience promoting healthy, safe workplaces

Responsibilities

• Ensures regulatory compliance for clinical operations and conducts required physical evaluations
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within scope of practice
• Delivers care to injured workers and coordinates return-to-work with TPA/client
• Implements transitional duty programs for injured workers
• Performs tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision) and documents results
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope
• Maintains equipment, environment, and infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records and educates on health promotion
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and other departments on health programs
• Assists with accident investigations and workplace safety initiatives
