Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Occupational Health PRN opportunity in Flint, MI. The role supports 2nd or 3rd shift coverage and involves chairs with the plant Health Services team, documentation, and wellness program activities.

Requirements include an RN license in Michigan, 2+ years of nursing experience (ER/Occupational Health preferred) and CPR/AED certification. COHN is a plus; weekends/holidays off are noted in the benefits.

Registered Nurse-Occupational Health needed for a 2nd or 3rd shift PRN opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Flint, MI

Hours

2nd 2:30PM-10 PM

3rd 9:30 PM-6 AM OR 10 pm-6:30 AM

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Administers professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees
• Performs and evaluates various clinical and diagnostic tests
• Assists plant physician in minor surgical procedures
• Interviews and documents medical history of employees
• Works effectively with the Health Services team and other departments
• Maintains appropriate medical records to ensure quality and accuracy
• Performs and documents physical exams
• Adheres to common practices and procedures throughout the department
• Maintains equipment and supplies
• Assists with the promotion of plant wellness programs
• Interfaces with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• RN Diploma/Associate degree required, BSN or BS preferred
• Valid RN license in the state
• Two or more years’ nursing experience preferred, ER or Occupational Health preferred
• COHN certification preferred
• Certified in Healthcare Provider CPR/AED
