Job summary

Marathon Health seeks an LPN/LVN to support clinical duties, welcoming patients, taking histories, and assisting providers in examinations. You will perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, administer injections, and help maintain medical records with HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating lab tests, immunizations, and athletic/workplace health programs, while delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced occupational health setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing or equivalent and 3+ years as an LPN/LVN.
• LPN/LVN Certification, Phlebotomy Certification, and CPR/BLS are required.
• Experience in occupational health strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors and patients, taking medical histories and preparing for examinations.
• Collecting medical histories, recording vital signs, and relaying urgent requests to the provider.
• Performing phlebotomy, collecting lab specimens and basic lab tests.
• Preparing medications and administering injections including vaccines as directed.
• Maintaining confidential medical records and ensuring a sanitary, organized environment.
• Coordinate lab tests and immunizations; support providers and nurses as needed.
