Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an LPN to support physicians in clinical and administrative tasks within our primary care setting. You will interview patients, document assessments in the EMR, perform venipuncture, basic labs, EKGs, and assist with procedures while ensuring smooth patient flow and a welcoming environment.

The role requires an active LPN license, BLS certification, and strong phlebotomy skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced clinic and coordinate referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and completion of a formal nursing training program.
• Current BLS certification and an active nursing license to practice in the applying state.
• Ability to administer injections, perform EKGs and other office-based procedures.
• Exceptional phlebotomy skills and patient-care abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support physician in clinical and administrative functions.
• Interview patients to obtain medical information and report findings.
• Record patient assessments into an EMR.
• Perform venipuncture and basic laboratory tests; coordinate with labs as needed.
• Assist with medical procedures and use diagnostic/therapeutic equipment.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and manage patient flow with scheduling.
