Job summary

UC San Diego Health seeks a Business Dev & Client Relations Manager to oversee five Occupational Health sites, drive strategic growth, and manage key employer client partnerships. You will lead onboarding, service implementation, and ongoing account management to enhance client satisfaction and service delivery.

Collaborating with clinical, operational, and executive teams, you will analyze performance data, develop growth strategies, and support contract negotiations to expand services.

Qualifications

• Seven years of related experience, or Bachelor's plus three years in strategic planning or business development in health care.
• Thorough knowledge of business development concepts, practices and functions including health care research resources.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills to perform market and financial analysis.
• Advanced problem solving to assess complex issues and develop solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with executives, staff and providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for five Occupational Health clinic locations.
• Monitor clinic performance, productivity, staffing, and service delivery standards.
• Serve as primary point of contact for employer clients and UC San Diego Health stakeholders.
• Lead client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing account management.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand Occupational Health services.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop growth initiatives and strategic plans.
• Analyze metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize workflows.
• Support contract negotiations, service agreements, and partnership development.
