Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for the Obstetrics - Lorain department in Ohio. This full-time role requires coordinating care, supervising a patient group, and demonstrating nursing leadership to ensure quality outcomes.

The CN II will participate in the Mercy Clinical Ladder, precept new staff, and maintain clinical competency. Schedule includes nights, on-call, with 36 weekly hours and weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure from the state of Ohio as an RN.
• Successful completion of orientation and probationary period.
• Maintains 12 contact hours of CE annually including Fire Safety and CPR Re-certification; ACLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct care for a team of patients with nursing leadership.
• Coordinate nursing care: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Precepts new employees as assigned.
