Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for a locum role in Michigan. The position requires board certification, active license or IMLC, and relevant obstetric procedures experience. Expect clinic-based hours with a 24-hour call component.

Credentialing is typically 30 days; EPIC/Dragon experience is preferred. Malpractice insurance is arranged by AMN for contractors, with travel and lodging support as needed.

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Clinic: Monday-Thursday 730am-430pm, Friday 730am-noon, 24-hr call
• Practice Setting: In clinic and 24 hr call
• Types of Cases: Suction dilation and curettage (D&C), Laparoscopy, Read Obstetrical non-stress test (NST), Caesareans, Circumcisions, Tubal Ligations
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC/Dragon
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
• Board certified and active state license or interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required
