Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician in Michigan to start ASAP. The assignment offers a daily pay rate of $1,746 to $1,890.

Clinic plus 24-hour call, procedures include C-sections, D&C, NSTs, circumcisions and tubal ligations. EMR is EPIC/Dragon; required certifications BLS, ACLS and PALS.

Board-certified OB/GYN with active license or IMLC preferred; AMN Healthcare coordinates travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN with an active license (or IMLC).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Proficiency with EPIC/Dragon EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Schedule includes clinic M-Thu 7:30-4:30, Fri 7:30-12, 24-hr call.
• Practice in clinic and 24-hour call settings.
• Handle obstetric procedures: D&C, C-sections, NSTs, circumcisions, tubal ligations.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Clinic: Monday-Thursday 730am-430pm, Friday 730am-noon, 24-hr call
• Practice Setting: In clinic and 24 hr call
• Types of Cases: Suction dilation and curettage (D&C), Laparoscopy, Read Obstetrical non-stress test (NST), Caesareans, Circumcisions, Tubal Ligations
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC/Dragon
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
• Board certified and active state license or interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required
