Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician to join their team for clinic and 24-hour call coverage. Start date ASAP with credentialing typically completed within 30 days. The role includes performing C-sections, D&C, NSTs and tubal ligations, with EPIC/Dragon as the EMR.

Board-certified physicians with active licensure are preferred. Competitive pay, malpractice insurance arranged by AMN, and full travel support are offered to contractors.

Qualifications

• Board certification and an active medical license are required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC/Dragon EMR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics hospitalist services in clinic and 24-hour call coverage.
• Manage procedures listed: D&C, Laparoscopy, NST, Caesareans, Circumcisions and Tubal Ligations.
• Adhere to credentialing timelines and document in the EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Pay Rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Clinic: Monday-Thursday 730am-430pm, Friday 730am-noon, 24-hr call
• Practice Setting: In clinic and 24 hr call
• Types of Cases: Suction dilation and curettage (D&C), Laparoscopy, Read Obstetrical non-stress test (NST), Caesareans, Circumcisions, Tubal Ligations
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC/Dragon
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
• Board certified and active state license or interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required
