Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician to cover clinic duties and 24-hour call. Board-certified OB/GYN with active license (or IMLC) and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS are required. EPIC/Dragon EMR experience is preferred to ensure seamless patient care.

The role involves a mix of clinic work and busy on-call obstetric coverage, with collaborative teamwork and dedicated support from AMN’s physician services network.

Qualifications

• Board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist required.
• Active medical license in state or IMLC.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC/Dragon EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics hospitalist coverage in clinic and 24-hour call.
• Perform obstetric procedures as listed (C-section, D&C, circumcisions, tubal ligations).
• Collaborate with hospital staff to manage obstetric patients and emergencies.

Pay Rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00

Details and Requirements

• Schedule: Clinic: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am - noon, 24-hr call
• Practice Setting: In clinic and 24 hr call
• Types of Cases: Suction dilation and curettage (D&C), Laparoscopy, Read Obstetrical non-stress test (NST), Caesareans, Circumcisions, Tubal Ligations
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC/Dragon
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
• Board certified and active state license or interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required
